This class is compromised of an initial relaxation and pranayama (breathing excercises), followed by sun salutations, poses an final relaxation.  There are 12 poses that are in the sequence designed to open the chakras, begining with the crown and proceeding to the root.  Poses are held for a period of time with a focus on the breath, followed by a brief rest so that the full bebefit of the pose can be realized by your body.  Althought some of the poses are quite challenging, there are variations and modifications to accommodate all level of practitioners.  Final relaxation is you opportunity to enjoy quiet and stillness.
